Adam Mott has been appointed UK brand manager for Invoq, the new combi oven brand from Middleby-owned Houno.
Invoq was introduced to the UK market earlier this year, with an exclusive launch event being held at Middleby UK’s innovation kitchen.
Mr Mott joins the business after 11 years as executive chef at Middleton’s Steakhouse & Grill.
Given his first-hand experience of commercial kitchen environments, he is excited about the prospect of seeing the industry from a sales perspective.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Houno team at what is such an exciting time, with so many changes and projects in the works and ahead of us, it’s great to be a part of it,” he said.
“I’m really looking forward to fully immersing myself in the world of Invoq, ensuring I have all the skills, knowledge and tools I need to truly drive the brand to the forefront of the market across the UK and Ireland.”
Rasmus Vingaard Larsen, president of Houno, believes Mr Mott’s experience of commercial kitchens will be hugely beneficial as Invoq looks to win market share in the UK combi oven sector.
“Once again, we open our arms to welcome another new member to the Middleby and Houno family,” he said.
“Adam is going to be a true asset to Middleby, and to the Invoq brand. Already he has a wealth of ideas, passion and drive, and we are looking forward to seeing how he will transform the way Invoq is brought to the market in the UK and Ireland.”
