Lincat gains showpiece space at Middleby UK’s revamped innovation centre

Middleby UK have injected further investment into their Centre of Innovation in Wigan. Just two months after its initial makeover the further investment now includes a dedicated Lincat area, showcasing a full line up of its sister company’s brands.

Middleby’s ‘Middleby 1’ concept is all about the two businesses working together to give customers one solution. Customers visiting the centre will now get the full Middleby experience, incorporating all its global brands in a huge, stunning display.

Live cooklines enable customers to try and test equipment, with an on-site development chef they can support, develop, and innovate across all areas of cooking. The Centre of Innovation has it all, and if that’s not enough why not wind down in the Josper fine dining room with a cocktail from the centre’s new cocktail bar.

Lana Yaffe, Marketing Manager for Middleby UK says, “The investment in the showroom is already paying off given the volume of visitors it has coming through the door. Our showroom is our shop window for our customers and is booked out every day for months in advance – even when we were working with a closed market. Implementing these changes and enhancing the way our showroom looks is key for us and adds the wow factor that our customers love. Their reactions never fail to put a smile on the team’s faces as they step into the showroom, and we can’t wait to welcome more and more customers to the centre. With the vast variety of products that we have on show it is very rare that we can’t meet a customer’s needs.”
