Middleby UK Makes Double Move to Strengthen Sales

Middleby UK has strengthened its external sales team, promoting Phil Denness to national account manager and appointing Joe Gunstone as business development manager.

Following a successful 6 years at the catering equipment supplier as business development manager for the south, Denness will now take responsibility driving chain business, both existing and new, for Middleby.

He said: “I’m really excited to grow the chain accounts for Middleby UK within my new role. It’s an incredible time to be a part of this innovative company and to see us expanding into new areas with our new brands such as Josper and Bakers Pride.”

Gunstone joins the expanding Middleby UK team, taking responsibility of London and the south. He previously worked for catering equipment giant Nisbets, and is looking forward to his new challenge.

He said: “When I found out that Middleby UK were looking for a BDM for the south I knew it was an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down. Returning to the industry that I loved within my previous roles was a no brainer for me. I can’t wait to progress my career within such an innovative and exciting company.”
