Varimixer consolidates UK distribution with Middleby

The Varimixer brand will now be supplied into the UK market via Middleby UK as part of a change in distribution strategy for the Danish firm.

Varimixer was acquired by Middleby back in 2017, but the new arrangement marks the first time it has been sold and marketed through its parent company’s UK operation.

“We’ve worked closely with the Varimixer team in Denmark to understand the products available and identify the models that we know will fit well into the market,” said Middleby UK’s managing director Chris Clark.

“Our teams have already carried out training and are ready to take the products to their customers with confidence.”

Varimixer was founded in 1915 and its products include the TEDDY, KODIAK and AR mixers, which range from 5-litre models to 100-litre models.

Mr Clark added: “We are excited to add another brand to our ever-growing portfolio of products, and Varimixer is an incredible brand to be able to supply our customers with. It is so well-known throughout the industry and adds a new product to our range.”
